Generating an invoice and lodging it online from within CareRight is as simple as:

  • Select the type of account which a patient is to be billed against (Private, Pensioner, AMA)
  • Then, the relevant fee chosen by your practice will be assigned according to the entered item number to be billed (Medicare item, service code or product number)
  • Fee amounts can also be varied according to the individual service provider within your practice.
  • Submit the invoice electronically to the relevant online claim service
    CareRight then links directly to numerous online claim services including:
      • Medicare Online
      • ECLIPSE
      • DVA
      • ACFI

For those repeatable instances where you have a known set of commonly grouped procedure item codes and other billable items for a particular appointment type, the CareRight Billing Wizard is able to be configured to automatically undertake the above process at the click of a single button.

Receipting of money received against an open invoice uses the open item method. This allows distribution of received payments against unpaid invoice line items. Statements can be printed at the end of month with user-defined messages to give you optimal debtor control.

Eclipse is an extension to Medicare Australia's online claiming solutions and offers a secure connection between medical practices and Medicare and most health funds.

Incorporates direct communication for providers with Medicare and health funds, all in the one transaction.

Online claiming can be used for both paid and unpaid medical claims, they are lodged directly to Medicare through the Clintel Specialist practice management software.
